"It was business." He offered weekly but she was moving. She tried to punch him again, but his hand caught her fist and he reeled his hand back. Arm tightening and ready to strike. But he stopped and held his blow.
He stopped and she was too angry to drop the matter, flailing and tugging in his grip. Her eyes on the verge of frenzy. Full of anger at his betrayal.
"Let me GO!" She screamed.
So he did. He left.
