You are so right, it is marketed to us as being edgy and rebellious to be sex (i.e. penetration) obsessed and for women to be appearance-obsessed and sexually submissive, and people have bought it hook line, and sinker.

While I have purchased many vibrators, virtually all phalically shaped (because that's mainly what there is, with a few exceptions), I never got much, if anything, out of inserting them - I always just use them on the front, where the vibration actually feels good.
