Yeah, it always annoys me when the characters suddenly fall madly in love in the second chapter of a 20+chap fic. O.o

Hm... I suppose I could give you a LITTLE hint.

...It will follow cannon until a certain VERY critical point, and a character that shouldn't necessarily be there will appear.

Oh! Sorry! It means something that is true or occurred in the main storyline, or something that fits in with the main storyline without any alterations.
So far, this has been cannon since you never see what Matt and Mello are up to at this particular time, and because you never see Mello's personal life.
