I think you wrote it the best you can with the most clearest explanation.

Keeping true to what Tezuka is feeling every day in a way shows the pain and suffering he has to endure because he cannot see with his own eyes what is war doing and fears the worst for Fuji.

I cannot wait for the next chapter.

You managed to show how terrible war is, even though Tezuka isn't there. It still shows, by the messages and the number of wounded and dead wolves. I think Tezuka showed a bit too much emotions this chapter, but at the same time does it show clearly how much he respects and loves Fuji. Loved this chapter a lot! You made me feel really sorry for Tezuka <3
