To be honest, I think you didn't gave yourself a very cheerful present ^_^" It was really beautiful and well written (but you made me really curious about their types), but in the end I felt so sad. I felt like things could be so wonderful, but they were afraid to give up what they have now. It feels like Tezuka has lots of regrets and that makes me sad.

I imagine that they are each other's types but didn't want to admit it. Things are often like that in real life. You don't want to admit something out loud and end up regretting it for a very long time...

Beautifully written but oh god how my heart breaks to read more TeFu angst ;_;

Mistakes made and regrets accumulated over the years; it's just really sad that they could perhaps have worked towards the happiness they had thrown away years ago but because of fear of the unknown and of stepping out of their comfort zones, they doom themselves to a life of anguish. It's pretty obvious how the both of them are less than contented with their spouses...

Btw, this is seriously a horrible present to give yourself; make it a fluff next time xD
