I got a new car! A PT cruiser. And by new I mean new to me lol. Still I'm rather excited even if I do feel like I signed my life away. And the even more mature purchase? An extended warranty! OMG I'm becoming an adult ( Read more... )

The Minivan of the Apocalypse is no more?! *tears of...TEARYNESS* Congrats on the new wheels though.

As far as the lingerie shopping goes, I won't step near a Victoria's Secret (bad experience, snooty salesgirl, lack of my bizarro size) but there's nothing that beats a cute cute bra.

I have yet to be comfortable in my own skin - and don't know if I ever will at this point- but will still go get cute bras, even if I'm only wearing them for me (which is really the best reason to wear them anyway, IMHO.)

PS: I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the "WTH, Bizarro size?" :/ question so I'll give the answer up front 40A-B. Yeah. Really. It's painful.

*sniff I love my minivan of the Apocalypse
I still have it until I can find a good home for it with someone who can fix her up.

I've only been to a Victoria's Secret once and after that I realized there was no way they would have my size. I have never had a cute bra 8( it's only the past year that I've worn anything other then sports bras. I am the opposite side of the bad size to find 44DDD. Even with losing weight the boobs are still huge. The band size has gone down but the cup size has gone up. And having two different cups sizes is actually pretty common.

Wearing lingerie for yourself is DEFINITELY the most important reason! As for being comfortable in your own skin... It's not great but better. I no longer feel nauseous when I see myself naked in the mirror. You want a serious ego boost? Go to a Golden Corral. SERIOUSLY! Every time I go there I feel like a freaking MODEL!

It's kinda funny (and sad) that when I lost the weight I've lost so far my sizes basically stayed the same - I dropped maybe a dress size at most- but my boobs got smaller and I lost a shoe size. I've repeatedly told my body that it was doing it WRONG but it doesn't seem to listen. And now Penney's doesn't carry my bra size anymore at all so I'm stuck with what I've got or having to order $60 + bras off the internet and that bugs me immensely since I like to try before I buy since the sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer (hence the 40 A-B thing, they're not different sizes, they're just right between an A and a B.) There's also the fact that I don't have $60 to spend on one bra. So very aggravating.

A lot of women loose weight in their boobs since that's pretty much all they are, fat. The shoe size is kind of odd though. Bra shopping = evil! Is there a Bali's story near you anywhere? They tend to have , well, pretty much everything. And not cheap but certainly not $60! Plus they'll do a free bra fitting for you and can probably recommend a model.

Sooooo you're more like and A+ or B-? ::tries not to snicker at that:: sorry. Bad joke is bad. As for catalog ordering it is a pain in the ass but if you get one and don't like the fit you can return it. I did that a LOT while trying to find my current model.
