Bel disappeared from behind the Perk in a burst of flames, bringing Angela with him. They reappeared in the common area of the empty Pangolin cabin. It was so quick that Angela didn't have much time to even think of struggling. Bel released her, but remained wearing Marty's form, grinning at her. "Surprise," he said.

For a moment, Angela was too stunned to react.

"You can't do that," she said tentatively. "You can't ... teleport?"

"I can now," Bel said, still smirking. "I think when I stripped Bel's demon powers, they had to go somewhere, so I got them instead."

That made Angela cry. "That's why you tried to keep it a secret," she whimpered. "That's why you lied to me."

Her eyes darted to the cabin entrance, trying to see if there was any way out.
