Angel walked right into the room without so much as knocking.

"You were right, I was wrong," he said. "Mark the calendar, I'm not going to say that often."

Bel had returned to his room to check his messages to see if Angel had called back, and looked up in surprise as Angel walked in. Well, after shimmering into Angel's room without warning, he hardly had grounds to complain. "So the radio was right?" he said. "It happened again?"

"So what is it about him that sets you off?" Bel mused. "What's so special about him? The cure didn't have any of his blood as far as I know, and if that was it, you'd be putting on your game face for a lot more people, including me."

Angel thought about it. "You, Cal, Molly, John, Isabel, Janet, Parker, Lana, Veronica - plenty of folks. No fangs."

Bel mulled over the reasons. "The only thing I can think of that sets Logan apart is he was the one who convinced you to drink the cure," he said. "Maybe...some part of you blames him for making you drink human blood, and your fears about that set you off in his presence? It's either that, or it could be because Angelus wanted him...."

"I've been thinking it's Angelus again," Angel admitted. "Maybe drinking human blood woke him up?"

"Isn't your soul stronger than a few swallows of blood?" Bel said. "I mean, if that's all it takes to wake Angelus up, I wasted a lot of time." He grinned ruefully.
