Interesting idea. But one thing, Hermione didn't see Sirius die, at least in the book, she was knocked out by that point.

Sorry. To be honest when I was writing that comment just seemed to work. but you're right it's not cannon. But then I think we can assume that this story is going to be pretty AU all over since we now know that she ended up with Ron.

Loveing the AU. Slightly different, slightly quirky, and you've really captured Sirius' voice. Really great start, cant wait to read more.
