Wow, that's him? I heard that an actor from Angel died but since I didn't follow it much, I guessed I wouldn't know

I heard about this when it happened and was so upset, but did they ever say what was the official cause of death?

He had heart failure, because he had a heart infection years earlier. Very sad.
