I didn't even wait to get home to read this, that's how excited I was.

I think everybody is concerned about this mysterious Future Beetle. And Rip. doctorv and I are very uneasy about Rip.

*sigh* At least we can have them together for a little while. Oh boys.

I avoided scans_daily and even boostle until I had it in my hot little hands.

It was brilliant. I looked back over the thing again this morning and, I swear, last panel? Booster is running his finger over Beetle's cheek. That may just be me projecting, but serious love!

I was annoyed by the "we never liked Max" thing too. Yeah, when stood around Max's bedside while he was in coma, they were all talking about pulling the plug.

Future Beetle worries me. Maybe it's all a red (or blue) herring, and the writers will surprise everyone with a happy ending? Then they can laugh at us for imagining the worst. I wouldn't mind being laughed at for that. Laughing because they gave me a Ted and took him away wouldn't be as funny.

I actually liked Max. I mean, I came to comics fandom late in this saga, when Ted was already dead. But then, post-Boostly megapost and then getting my own copies of FKA and ICBIN, I really liked him. Not the purest of intentions, admittedly, but really not evil.

His explanations are weak. "I have future knowledge, I have alien tech" - and Booster is so desperate for any and all back-up that he'll just take it. But Rip's also a tiny bit psycho.
