An E-mail

So, I got this e-mail today, filtered to my junk, but it has the subject line: Your Fan Fiction & A Brighter Fan Fiction Future‏

I immediately think FanLib and what-the-hell-I'm-curious, so I open it.

This is what it says:

I've never heard of it before today, but I poked around the site. It's just a generic archive, like fanfiction.net, only considerably smaller. There's a catch somewhere--they are far too self-promoting--but I can't even find something on their site mentioning the mandatory ads.

I wasn't too impressed. I'm guessing you just plug in your story and select colors for your section of the site. Easy, but hardly unique.

Meh.

But it also says somewhere you can just link to your website...in which case, what on earth use is it?

It's hardly a good sell, is it?
