Outside Looking In: The DC Comics Windowsill Challenge
After reading a couple of brilliant fics and doodling in my lecture today (it was that good), I've come up with a challenge.
Many super-powered characters can fly. The human superheroes are agile athletes, using technology and skill to scale buildings and reach their targets.
They're also mostly kinda angsty.
The challenge is simple: create a fanwork based on a windowsill, with one character on the outside and one inside.
Perhaps Connor can't quite face looking in on Kyle, but Kyle's waiting for him behind the curtain? What if Bruce just can't get Dick out of his head, and sees something he shouldn't in his apartment? Maybe Tim always leans out of the window to kiss Kon as he flies by?
The possibilities are endless. It's time windows were used for something other than breaking-and-entering.
