Fury would be a kickass Vimes - and I do believe Coulson might pull off a reasonable Vetinari, although that's looking at him through Thor goggles (the friendly, polite guy in charge who will take your life's work in exchange for a receipt because it's for the greater good).

Steve as Carrot ... but then who'd be his Angua?

This makes three votes for Coulson as Vetinari now, so I guess he's in? He doesn't quite have the attitude, but seems to be the closest fit in Avengers.

Unless he's Angua, based purely on kind-of-having-a-crush, but LOL NO. Although ... you could say he'd be the closest fit to having the whole "I'm the dog and you're the master" dynamic that Angua and Carrot have... The mind boggles.
