For some reason my SUPER SAPPY Jason Mraz/KHR song call is actually "I'm Yours". I don't even know who he'd sing it to - or no, I imagine him whistling it while he slings himself over Gokudera and Tsuna's shoulders and bugging the hell out of them (or out of Gokudera at least). I can't even explain it, but the song call is INDELIBLE.
Also ahahaha on the Radiohead. OH TSUNA. Will probably download the others for a listen later!
I've been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer But my breath fogged up the glass And so I drew a new face and I laughed
Oh yeah, that is 100% Yamamoto! My indelible call for him is unfortunately a mental image of him doing a strip tease for partner-of-choice to "You're Never Fully Dressed" from the Annie musical.
Your clothes may be Beau Brummelly They stand out a mile -- *kicks off shoe* But Brother, You're never fully dressed Without a smile! *kicks off other shoe, starts on tie* *SMILING*
Xanxus's is my favourite song out of this lot. Such drama!
Poetry's harder to assign to characters, I think, because there are so many possible interpretations. The ones that make me think of characters tends to be older poems like these, that are a bit more straightforward.
I think it fits especially well because I like to think he was always weird/morbid, long before he got the Ring. Maybe even before Amane died, although that was probably a big part of what made him grow more morbid, and maybe more interested in the occult. (You know, it's bizarre that 'oh, that sister he's writing to? DEAD ALL ALONG' was only revealed in a character info book. It can completely change the way you look at him!)
though I imagine that maybe it wasn't something as serious before Amana died, just something he took an interest it, but well, less personal and "it has got to be true". Yep, same here.
I can't even imagine whether or not Takahashi added in the fact that Amane's dead later or not. It is the kind of thing that could be difficult to fit naturally into the main story (maybe especially because Bakura's such a distant character?), but on the other hand, it's such a fundamental part of his character... *throws hands up*
