So it looks like Good Omens is getting a 4-part TV series. Fandom Secrets accepts new secrets on Sundays, right? I predict 75% saturation of casting secrets in the coming week, with another 5% dedicated to being distressed/being annoyed by everyone who's distressed/being indifferent and needing to say so. If a cast list ever gets leaked, boom. 99% ( Read more... )

What movie/show is that Pete guy in for the picture of him as a janitor? I swear I've seen that before...

I'm not sure which movie that screenshot is from - the site I got the picture from doesn't mention - but if you've seen The Town, maybe you're remembering him from there? He played a money-laundering florist. He was also Robert Fischer's dying dad in Inception.

Hmmm...can't say I've seen him from any of those. I'm going to be watching Inception soon I promise! I know it's bad of me for not seeing it yet but it's not because I didn't want to--I'm working on rectifying the situation Thanks for the help though!

Hope you enjoy Inception - I found it quite fun. (And that actor was also in a pretty famous role in the British movie In the Name of the Father--have you seen that?)

/SHRIEEEEEEEK YES

Actually, it'd be a lot easier to cut Tracey than it would Shadwell, I think; he's not as important to Newt and Anathema hooking up, but him not being around would probably change Newt's entire character, because there'd be no reason for him to be a Witch Finder and they'd have to change pretty much his entire reason for being involved in the story. I will be incredibly disappoint if they change the story that much... but if they cut any characters I'm pretty much expecting it to be a)Madame Tracey and b)the Four Other Motorcyclists of the Apocalypse.

Also, I would still kill to see Stephen Fry as Aziraphale. B|

Erg, I could easily see it happening. I'm being pessimistic so that hopefully it won't be as bad as I expect! At the same time, optimism fights back - BBC series seem to have episodes that are like mini-movies. If there are four episodes of 90-ish minutes each, they could do a lot.

I'd actually be a bit sad if they cut out the way the Four Motorcyclists got together, though. Cutting out the Other Motorcyclists makes sense, but I liked the goofy intro of the trivia machine changing its answers depending on which Motorcyclist came in, Elvis joke and all.

Also, I would still kill to see Stephen Fry as Aziraphale.

I would hate to see anyone cut, really, but I gotta partially agree with poisontea. If they cut anyone, the other four motorcyclists of the apocalypse would be the easiest to cut. I don't think they could really cut Madame Tracey or Shadwell very easily, at least not without people making an uproar over it. Or would I be the only one?

Any rate, I am EXCITED AND ECSTATIC over this development. They were talking about a movie not long after the book came out (I think there's still an IMDb page for it, actually), but it never came to fruition. So I'll take what I can get and run with it in paraoxysms of glee, thank you. XD

I would make an uproar about Shadwell and Tracey. Shadwell's one of my favourites! And Tracey is so sweet ... you know, I don't think they would cut her. I the bit where Aziraphale possesses her would provide too many comedic opportunities.

I'll glee along with you! :D A TV series is even better than a movie - they can fit in much more!
