....wow. Um. Some how I think it's possibly going to be fantastic, but if it's not it's going to fail so hard, so uh.
Uh.
Huh.

EXACTLY. The potential awesome is cancelled out by thoughts of how truly terrible it could be and then you end feeling "huh".

Discworld could work with Disney thematically - both have optimistic natures. They just. have to keep Death as being Death, and not something more cutesified. He's already adorable! (Although in Mort he's a lot less so.) Well, they killed off an adorable animal sidekick in Princess and the Frog and they got the circle of life going in Lion King, so they might be willing to go a little "darker" than I fear.

YEAH.

True, true. Though Iono, I think they'd be more suited to one of the slightly less. You know. Death-tastic ones. Going Postal, or one of the Tiffany Aching ones, or something. *pokes it*

That is the REALLY weird part - the choice of Mort. Sure it "has a princess", but if there are Discworld books actually aimed at children, then ... no? Alrighty. Guards! Guards! could've worked too; you've got a comedy intro because a two-metre tall guy is a dwarf, and then a bit of buddy cop with Sam & Carrot. Although then there is the alcoholism...

So basically Tiffany (or maybe Amazing Maurice) would have been perfect, but nevermind.

I'll settle for hopeful for now (kind of like for the World Cup XD)
Ha! I guess so. XD That sounds like a plan. Just seeing Discworld in hand-drawn Disney animation should be amazing. One shot of Great A'Tuin and the Disc -- all I ask for. *_______*

Mort isn't one of my favourites either, but it was one of the first Discworld novels I read. I didn't know enough English to understand it but nonetheless could not stop reading, so I have a soft spot for it. I think it settled into my subconscious. But as I said, I'm going to be hopeful too.
