Major apologies to everyone on my flist for being completely crap about commenting for the last several weeks. At least you have a job - what kinda stuff do you have to do there? I have no clue what you do in an office job, so this intrigues me.

Well, so far, I don't have to do much of anything, which is the entire problem. I applied for a job, and so far I've been there 5 days and have no job to do. As wonderful as it may be to sit around doing nothing and get paid, it also makes those 8 hours every day feel more like 88 hours. Yesterday (Friday) I was quite literally instructed to go move the files on the shelves to make sure they were all standing upright and not leaning to the side. That's super pathetic. That's not a job ( ... )

Mar's great tits, that sounds incredibly boring. Yeah, it might be most people's dream to just get paid to do nothing, but it's also dull as dirt and makes you want to tear your hair out. I don't blame you for being frustrated, especially when a) your other job had you DO SHIT and b) your new job makes you do things you weren't even told you'd have to do. I think I'd lose my mind in that position too!

Wow, it sounds like you've been getting up to quite a bit lately--it's totally understandable that you haven't had time to LJ much! ♥ It's good that you're balancing your job with playing games, and I'm sure it'll all get better soon once you get into the groove! :D

I really hope things get better, otherwise I'm going to have to go back to job hunting, because so far it's a really bad fit for me. I'm used to working in a much more relaxed and yet also more organized environment (I worked in a more blue-collar environment before, because it was an office for a manufacturing plant. This new place is more white-collar and I find most people there to be cold and distant.)

But yeah, games keep me from wigging out as much. XD; Whereas being social is hard for me because I'm bad at it to begin with and then I have to do it in person all day at work which is really draining. Blah. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up on at least some of what people are up to before this weekend is over...
