Season 5 Predictions & Hopes freetimenow May 13 2012, 07:42:43 UTC
Wow, a lot of things to consider...I guess I'll go by each of the main characters individually because it's just easier that way, ha. Also, I'm not sure how much of this will be what I hope would happen by now in comparison to actually what would happen so please keep that in mind when reading it because try as I might I know I can't keep the hope at bay for certain characters. :) Here we go ( ... )

There is just no short answer to that, lol! They were already there with episodes 8 and 9. My wish would be that some of the hot political topics everyone is discussing these days would have been addressed in cases. Lindsay/Cindy would have been the ideal, but I'm not sure I'd trust ABC that far even if JP, SF & EC could have imagined it ( ... )

The unaired pilot was so badass it almost hurt. So many strong women. The show itself was mind blowing enough, but the unaired pilot kind of took the cake.

And now I read the whole prompt. One of my pet theories a long time ago was that Cindy would actually be bi in cannon. She seemed so in touch with the community, and she never really talked about boys, so there was an opportunity there. I felt like it could be done pretty realistically (and would have rounded out the pretty diverse cast). Not sure if she would've ended up with Lindsay, just because having two strong female and queer leads might've been a bit much, but I could definitely see Lindsay acting maybe a little weird around Cindy's SO ( ... )

They could go with the book and have Cindy become involved with Lindsay's new partner. Only make the new partner a woman.

Both would have been fun if it had been in the original creators' hands, for sure! :)

It's hard to figure where the series would have gone. Based on the early episodes it could have gone somewhere good. Based on the last three, not so much. I'm still a bit bitter with how it ended, they really seemed to get away from the club and focused on Lindsay. Of course that could have just been to closed out the KMN case and maybe it wouldn't have stayed that way.

I agree with many of the above observation about where the characters could go.

Some episode ideas:
Claire dealing with empty nest as her oldest goes to college
Lindsay and Jill arguing over the DA's office offering deals to criminals for larger convictions.
Cindy getting herself in trouble (I know--that's a given)
They would each get a back story episode.
Tom would leave ( I hope)
Lindsay would dump Pete (I double hope)
And they would probably all, except Claire, have a new f**k every week. Kinda like R&I last season.
