I like it. I know it's not perfect, but I really like it.

And while we're talking, can we also talk about Dev (Raza Jaffrey), because if I could pick anyone on TV right now to date it would be him, without hesitation

YES YES YES...I like this show a LOT. Is it just because it's a musical and it's on TV? Probably. But I've been thoroughly enjoying it! I think my favourite is probably Dev but also Julia and Derek! I just want MORE omg!

I don't think it's just because it's a musical on TV (though that is definitely a factor in the awesomeness). Oh yes, Julia and Derek! And I like Eileen, too (though honestly, it's Anjelica Houston, how could I dislike her?). While some of the drama has seemed a bit "forced", and some of the acting stiff (broadway actors getting used to TV, I'm willing to cut some slack) in general I think the characters and development have been pretty darn good.

Plus - musical numbers on TV! Occasionally with choreography!
