in terms of bookery, i dunno how much high fantasy you like mixed with yer sci fi but Anne McCaffrey does some good stuff. her Crystal Singer series is on the lower end of the fantasy scale, as is her Talents series. (prequels involve To Ride Pegasus, Pegasus in Flight, and Pegasus in Space -can't remember the order- and the actual series starts with Rowan)

Thanks! I like Anne McCaffrey, but I don't think I'm familiar with those of hers. I shall look into them. :3

Most of the rest of the commandments aren't that great. I should probably apply 'thou shalt' to the beginning of them. Number one is what I'm going to have problems with. "There shall be no excessive blogging, journaling, or writing period of anything personal and mopey." All the others are like "Do these things," and "Take short showers, and sing while you're taking them (or at least hum)."
