[Someone heard you downstairs moving around, Mom. Unfortunately, he was too slow to catch her on the way out of the house. When he sees Mom slip out of the house quietly, he throws on his heavy coat and shoes, and follows the prints in the freshly fallen snow.

Eventually, he'll make his way out to the fountain and see her just... sitting there. He hesitates from some distance for a moment. What was she doing? Adell makes no effort to hide, but the hour might make it hard to see just who's on the edge of the plaza.]

[She's unaware she's being watched and doesn't appear to be on the look out for anyone in the first place. It's early, far earlier than when she normally gets up but when she'd woken up she'd known she wouldn't be getting back to sleep.

Today is the 8th, the 8th of February and how messed up is it she has an anniversary date for her abduction but can't remember her own for her marriage?

Adell had found her at the fountain after their inane conversation in the journals (b grade sci-fi references and all) and much like anything, she can remember it clearly. She can remember the entire year she spent here clearly (save for the effects of some experiments) and that means it's been one/sixteenth of her life she's knowingly spent away from Veldime.

That's a lot of time and she doesn't know how she feels about it.]

[Adell slowly draws closer to her when she looks lost in thought.]

...Mom? What are you doing out here?

[Mom leaves and returns with little fuss, if Patchy is still up she'll hear her return a few hours later at least.]

Mmm, even I know my stubbornness isn't enough to keep the elements at bay.

[Fixing her scarf around her neck, she's definitely all bundled up.]

[Heavy jacket, scarf, and boots, she isn't bothering with gloves. Her tail still makes an appearance, covered up mostly by her coat before making itself known wrapped lightly around her calf.]
