Event: St Patrick's Day
Overnight, green shamrocks have sprouted all over the town, going so far as to grow on houses and walls. Residents will find that most of them have three leaves, but may be lucky enough to find one that has four. And they will be lucky.
If you don't wear green today, you're going to be poked and prodded by a few unseen little hands. The rowan crowns won't keep them off.
They won't do much, actually. The only fae that can be seen around are little men dressed all in green. Theyre quite fly and difficult to catch, but pour them a drink and the Leprechaun will give you some gold. Whether or not that'll stay come tomorrow is another story, of course...
Aside from the fae, residents may notice an abundance of snakes slithering around the town and surrounding areas too. If these get into the town too much, then the poking and the prodding will become more violent. Keep the snakes out, and things won't be so bad.
And as for the drinks? Anything any resident picks up will have turned into strong whiskey. Got some ale from the casks in the Inn? It's whiskey. Took some water from the well? It's whiskey.
Everything's whiskey.
