Since the voice had scared the life out of him North had headed straight there, practically running to the temple to find out what was going on. At a time like that, he figured the others would be along without him having to ask them. None the less, he was the first one there, and he slowed to a walk when he neared the open doors, catching his breath as he stepped inside gingerly.

The scenery was overwhelming, there was statues and symbols he didn't understand or recognise, and light illuminating them like something out of a beautiful dream.

It took a while for his single eye to scan the interior and finally fall on the figure of the dark haired man standing in front of the doors.

North's fists clenched immediately, and though he didn't draw his blade, his hand did find the hilt and grip the star like metal just in case.

"Declare yourself," He ordered as he stepped forward, slowly, the figure becoming more and more in focus.

Duibhín had been prepared to be angry as he stormed towards the temple. After all, he had been kidnapped mid portal jump, taken form his friends and loved ones, left only with the Kal'dorei woman and so many humans for company. Add to that his pets running off, with only two companions remaining, and so many other small indignities and you had a very lost blood elf looking for a fight.

So when he stepped into the temple, while his steps slowed for reverence, there was purpose to his stride...

...Until he saw that Moonwell, and a moment later, that Sunwell. Amongst the other jumbled clutter of altars, there they stood. And as well, there stood the stranger, clad in...something, the blood elf wasn't sure what, though it suited him.

"What is the meaning of all of this." he found himself saying quietly.

The noise that had ebbed through the communicator had interested him, and Darryn may well have ventured out to find out more about it with that alone.

The voice had had beckoned him to the Temple though... The unnerving way it was just there, in his mind, but not his thoughts; that sent a wave of panic through him, almost made him rethink moving at all, ever again.

In the end though, it seemed the only way to get rid of that voice and the nerves it had caused would be to do as it said. Hopefully whoever was intruding into his mind would speak physically if Darryn was face-to-face with them.

When he arrived at the Temple he half-noticed the two figures who had arrived before him, but mostly his attention was drawn to the figure in the centre of the room. White skin and black hair - very Stygian, but definitely this man wasn't a race from his world. He didn't seem threatening, strange though he looked. In fact he seemed almost safe ( ... )

The professor does not walk to the temple, with the light so bright he is able to use his light travel to materialise into the room itself through one of the windows. When he appears, he shakes his head, the Rowan crown on his head tangled in his hair, before pushing his finger into the centre cog of his glasses and spinning the lens to the largest one.

Noticing Darryn, and the others, he gives a warm smile, but says nothing. At the sight of the stranger he simply tilts his head, and looks at him inquisitively.

Cloud didn't like the way that the voice dropped into his head so easily, but what he especially didn't like was that he'd tried to open those doors a few days ago, and got nothing from it but a slightly scraped sword. Still, he didn't think too hard on it, and he walked into the Temple.

He stood beside the group, waiting. For the moment, he couldn't see those etchings on the wall that had been visible in the Temple of the Ancients, and that was probably for the best.
