BEDROOM #1

The bedroom is dark and warm. A large bed, complete with curtains and awning, dominates much of the room. Cabinets and chests contain neatly packed clothes. A silver hair set sits on a vanity cabinet, before an oval mirror in a delicately carved frame. Everything is elegant rather than ostentatious.

A faint, throbbing sound can be heard in here, deep and pervasive.

[It looks like someone else went snooping before she did, there's shirts on the floor and an open chest. Not surprising, this is hardly open territory, usually. Although she'd have at least been more discreet about it.

The urge to flop onto the bed is strong, but she'd probably fall asleep on its awesome fluffiness, and then she wouldn't get any exploring done! So the mattress will just get longing looks while she pokes through every drawer and cabinet in the room. The throbbing noise is kind of annoying, and even if she wasn't so curious, she'd want to find the source to make it go away.

She saves the open chest for last, figuring if it's already been pilfered there won't be anything interesting left in it. ...but the throbbing gets louder as she gets closer, and once she actually looks inside she can see a faint glow peeking out from under a rumpled shirt. Twitching the shirt aside, she finds- a diamond? No, diamonds don't glow, even when they're enchanted most of the time

LIBRARY

The scent of dust and dry paper is lingering here. Shelves upon shelves of books line every wall, each sorted into several categories. Today, every category except NON-FICTION L and S is locked under thick sheets of silver metal.

Of course Daria would skip the actual party and go looking for books. She'd been waiting for this opportunity since she'd first been told there were books stashed away in the mansion.

The moment Sindragosa had heard that the mansion was open, she had strode to it and began her exploring. A little exploration had taken her to the library, and she had been there ever since, away from the noise and closeness of the other partygoers.

She is seated in the corner furthers from the door, a large book on leyline open on her lap. One of her swollen fingers trails down the page as she reads, and she snaps notes into her communicator deftly with the other every so often.

When Bakura came in, her gaze snapped up and she hissed.

"Quiet. Or go elsewhere."

LABORATORY

This section of the mansion looks one third an apothecary, one third a witch's hut, and one third a surgery. Various bottles of strange liquids line the walls, as well as plenty of drawers with strange ingredients labelled on them. A few wall-cupboards hold various bits of machinery, including two oil-powered heaters.

Parties were fine and all that, but Takano found herself here for another reason entirely. It would be a shame after all to let an opportunity like this to go waste. Especially not when that poor blonde girl had worked so hard to give it to them, hm..? Sneaking into the mansion usually would be way too much trouble to be worth it, but if it was open either way it was just a perfect chance. She found herself almost immediately drawn to the laboratory, if not just for the sense of something slightly familiar about all of it.

It didn't take a very long time for the woman to start rummaging through the drawers and bottles in search of anything useful. But perhaps she would get some company?

With the party being held, Rika took the advantage to finally explore the mansion. Hopefully to find clues about Demeleier... but she was almost doubtful about that since the mansion had been explored previously. Still, the place may have some useful things for her take back to her croft.

The laboratory would seem like a place a girl like Rika would be least interested in, but she was there anyway. She knew Yuca liked this sort of thing. She didn't know what in the world those chemicals were on the shelves, but maybe he would know.

...And oh shoot, is that Takano snooping through the drawers? Better make this quick while she has her head turned.

Rika stands on her tiptoes, trying to take down as many bottles as she can and stuff them into a bag. Moving too quickly, her hand nearly knocks over an empty bottle. While the bottle's safe, it makes a small rattling noise to give away that she's there. D'oh.

"Mii."

At the sound, Takano panics for just a slight moment. After all, it could be a fae, or even the Guardian or whoever would try to keep her from stealing the things here or punish her for it. And the least thing she feels like is getting into trouble with the fae, especially since she wouldn't really be able to fight back against them.

But the moment she spots Rika, she relaxes immediately. Her usual smirk even creeps up on her face, since.. well, Rika obviously has tried to keep silent and failed. So this could even be a little amusing.

She chuckles. "My, Rika-chan, sneaking off into the mansion..?" Never mind the fact Takano is doing exactly the same thing.

GREENHOUSE

This room smells incredibly fresh and fragrant, even this close to winter. Trees and plants climb towards the high roof, and even now are heavy with fruit.

Sebastian stood at the door of the study, observing the room. After the bright lights and sounds of the party, the dim atmosphere and silent were a relief for his too sensitive ears and eyes. He could hear people walking around though, other guests also exploring the Mansion, but he didn't care for them, enjoying to be on his own, even for only a few moments.

The demon walked in, taking in the scent of the room, a mix of fresh ink, paper and dust. He grinned as it reminded him the Phantomhive Manor then sat at the big desk. Hamlet peeked out from his pocket and Sebastian chuckled, scooping him up to place him on the desk.

"So, my little friend, do you like this place ?" The kitten smelled around before returning to his master, looking for a few strokes.
