[ As if Ange really trusted Bernkastel with any of this. If she wanted to talk to Kyrie, there would be some ulterior motive, most likely at the expense of her mother. And.. while she had wanted to stop it somehow, she couldn't have interefered, since she had practically been told not to by her own mother.

But she regrets it by now, of course, even if there wasn't any way to intervene she wishes there would have been. Ange has been sitting around nervously in her croft for as long as the conversation had been taking, but after a little while she just can't take the nervousness anymore and she moves out of the croft to Kyrie's, which is pretty nearby either way. If Kyrie was there they could just talk and.. somehow it would be okay, right?

There's a slight moment when she hesitates, but then she knocks lightly on the crofts door, but practically already opens said door as she speaks up. Maybe part of her is afraid of being sent away again, and if her mother really was there she at least wanted to do something this time. ]I'm coming ( ... )

[At the sound of Ange's voice, she sits up straight, freezing in surprise at having been found. And, well, shame for being caught crying, which she tries to form an excuse for briefly, but quickly realizes it would be impossible to deny.]

Ange...you should go back home.

[ She weakly shakes her head, as if wanting to give an answer to that (of course she can't go back, not now her mother is here alone crying) but no words come out of her mouth.

No matter how much she struggles, she can't say anything - even though there are plenty of things she wants to say, plenty of things she wants to do. Punching Bernkastel in the face for this might be one of them, but she knows she doesn't stand a chance against that witch either way and she knows it. She's unable to help anyone, as usual. She can't even save her own mother when it's needed, so..

Her mind tells her it's not the best idea, but her body moves before she can't stop herself and in a few quick steps she walks over to where Kyrie is sitting, dropping herself to the ground to be on an even level with her mother. Then Ange moves her arms around the woman, clinging to her.

She isn't entirely sure which one of them needs the hug more at the moment. ]

[It's mostly shock that keeps her from saying anything more, but in seeing Ange isn't about to let go, she soon gives into returning the hug. If anything could be comforting at that moment, it had to be the child they did raise together, right?

She wraps her arms around Ange's shoulders, drawing her close.]
