[Accustomed to early mornings, Chell found herself wandering throughout the village. Though she was no longer confined in Aperture, she had quickly found that doing nothing, as opposed to something, was still unsettling than not.

She found herself walking alongside the river, then immediately stopped when she found the bridge in sight. Her brows raised. Nearby was something else...a wolf. Well, this was unfortunate. Chell wasn't exactly the fighting type. Exactly.

On second glance though, Chell noticed two items near the creature--a rowan crown and communicator. Whose were they? Had they been there before the wolf had gotten there?

Cautiously, Chell takes a step forward and slightly towards the side.]

[As soon as Aisling hears movement, she stops drinking and immediately turns her head, ears up, not even blinking.]

[She nods to the communicator.] Is that yours?

[Aisling looks down at the communicator, sniffs at it, and nudges it slightly with her nose. It is hers, but she doesn't know why she has it.]

[ Madotsuki, being the shut-in that she is, has probably never even seen a wolf before. So when she spots Aisling in wolf-form while she's walking up to the bridge, she looks a bit.. surprised. Curious, perhaps. She tilts her head slightly sideways, before attempting to talk to the thing - hey, Madotsuki finds talking to animals very normal. ]

... Hello.

[Aisling turns to look at Madotsuki when she speaks. It's very rare that someone will just come up and try to talk to her when she's like this, so she is intrigued. Though naturally, she'll say nothing. She can't say anything like this.]

I haven't seen you here before..

[ It's actually easier to talk to animals, or things that just aren't human in general - due to being a shut-in she's so socially awkward that talking to humans causes her trouble. ]

Do you come here often?

[This is a question that Aisling feels needs answering. So one minute the wolf will be there, and the next minute there's a small pale-skinned girl looking very indignant.]

No. It's not my forest.

[Her first thought at seeing a wolf is "GRAB THE ABYSSAL WHIP," but then she notices the communicator and is....confused.]

...how...

[Not coming too close, but she has to ask.]

How do you type with paws?

[Aisling turns at the sound of her voice, but all she does is tilt her head at her, confused by her question. It's not like she can answer like this, anyway.]

[Welp, looks like it's a smart wolf! So she steps a little closer, holding up her communicator.] To use this. Wouldn't paws make it difficult?

[And suddenly there's no longer a wolf there, but a small girl.] What's it for, anyway?

[Oh, a wolf! Luke's a little unsure if he should go up to her, but he's going to try talking with her anyway. Maybe he'll be able to understand this wolf and hopefully she won't try to attack him in return.]

Hello there!

[People seem pretty friendly to wolves here...so Aisling will turn around and thump her tail a few times. This kid doesn't seem that threatening.]

Ah, hello! Do you live in this forest?

[Suddenly, not a wolf anymore.]

No, I don't.

[It was always the right time to go exploring. After all, Alois had a terrible need to keep himself distracted and amused. Boredom was a terrible thing, after all, and when he found himself bored well...others usually suffered for it.

Thus it was down to the river today, simply for the hell of it. On his head he wore his crown of rowan and around his neck the daisy chain he'd made with the little flower fairies he'd played with. Things would've been all very well and good if he hadn't been stopped dead in his tracks by the sight he saw.

A wolf. A white wolf. Down at the river.

Everything in him froze completely.

The thing is, aside from fairytales, Alois has never seen a live wolf before. They were made mostly extinct in Britain. Thus he's caught between wonder and fear (but mostly wonder) as he stares at the pretty, white creature before him, silently.]

[Aisling can already feel another person staring at her, so she turns around. How many people live in this village, anyway?

Well, since he's staring at her, she may as well stare back. She's pretty good at not blinking, as well as making no movements aside from the occasional swish of her tail.]

[He's still entranced as he stares, not daring to move. Wolves could gobble children right up without a second thought, couldn't they? Hadn't that fate befallen Little Red?

Instead, he finds himself sitting down on the grass, legs crossed as he stares. There's nothing else he can manage to do.]

[She wouldn't, but if her wolves were here she could easily make them do that if she wanted them to. But they're not here, so that option is out.

She'll sit back on her haunches, continuing to stare.]
