Zack had been fiddling with the notion of trying to do squats on his broken leg, it wasn't working out so well and the clatter that came when the knock on the door was heard was the indication that it had turned out even worse, in that now Zack had made just a little bit of a mess in the way of a knocked over table. Well he would have to try and pick that up later, hitching the makeshift crutch he had finally gotten it didn't pull on his injured side nearly as much as using the buster sword had he hobbled to the door

"You're injured..." He said quietly, his voice cold, betraying no outward emotion as he sauntered inwards, leaning against the door to close it, then walking forward, eying the small home. Not so different from his own, really - but then again all the little crofter huts seemed alike, with the exception of small creature comforts they all attempted to add for their own preferences.

Similar enough.

The demon turned to face Zack, staring at him in unabashed curiosity, that mask present as always to hide himself from others, to allow him to judge without being judged in return. It still baffled him how kind Zack was, how happy.

It reminded him of times years before.

"So, tell me... what happened...?" he asked at length, propping himself against the wall before gesturing for the other to seat himself, to get off of his injury.

"Yeah, had a run with an animal man." Yes Zack was a jokester but the way he said it was dead serious, he still thought about that kid, he wondered if Karasu would mind checking up and making sure no one else got hurt in the fight, if not he was sure Valeria would when he could get ahold of her

"An animal man?" He echoed, voice sharpening a little, curiosity perked. A demon like himself then? Not that Karasu looked much like a crow at the moment, but he did have wings when he cared to display them, at least.

And turning into a crow to spy on others was always handy.

But Karasu watched in silence as Zack hefted the table up, sighing at the grimace as that injured leg was pulled. Zack obviously, while stubborn, wasn't the smartest of humans. But he listened to Zack's explanation, sighing once more, though he had to admit, they sounded like...fun. While he was relatively calm at the moment, thanks to Sheik's need to keep him quiet and peaceful, the need for violence was brimming just under the surface
