I wasn't completely obsessed with the HP series either, but I still found the last movie to be pretty emotionally draining. I guess because it was still part of my childhood sort of, seeing as I've been reading the books and enjoying them since the very beginning.

I can definitely understand that. As you mentioned in your entry, coming out of that really did make one feel like they were coming out of a war.
