does your macbook get really hot on the left side on and above the keyboard, near the power conection? Because mine does, and it's starting to worry me...
Yeah it does. The guy at tech support that gave us the computers advised that, when we have the MacBooks plugged into the wall, we should take the battery out. However, that's not even where they get hot, so I'm not sure. I guess all that processing speed takes its toll somehow.
i don't think it makes a whole lot of difference if the battery is in or not, it's just down to the new processors they use being so hot, and because the macbook is so thin, there's not great cooling going on... at least if everyone elses is like mine it's not faulty.
