So, technically I'm posting this on Tuesday. Still counts as Monday though, because I haven't been to bed yet. Isn't that the way it works?

About the beta, I could do it, if you like! I don't know anything about SGA, though, so couldn't really offer much in the way of SGA character comments and such. But if you just need a grammar/spelling/general beta, I could totally do that. *G*

That would be wonderful. I'm really not too worried about characterization or consistency with the series. But, I absolutely need a grammar/spelling/general beta. I tend to go off on tangents which really ought to be cut for the sake of story flow, but I never seem to find them without a second set of eyes. Also, I'm really bad about switching tenses, so those are the two things I'm mostly wanting out of a beta for this story.

I got distracted by the kitten today, so I still have a couple hundred words before I get to the end, but I should definitely have it done tomorrow and I can send it on. Thanks.

Well, I've had kind of an insane week. Sorry, I didn't get back to you. I actually just discovered that I had written down my due date wrong, this story isn't due until the 15th of July, so I'm re-working a couple of parts that I was really unhappy with. If you're still up for doing the beta, it would be appreciated and I should be ready by the end of the week.

Yay, you recc'd my friend! Do you mind if I link him to this post so he can see your nice comments (or at the very least copy/paste your comments to him?)

Speaking of, I loaned him season 1 of SGA, but apparently the pilot was a big giant turn-off so I told him I'd reccomend a few episodes that were either really good or were kind of necessary for season 2-watching.

The only problem is...well, he has the DVDs, and I've only seen the season once. His main problem with the pilot was that it was too expositiony and slow, I think. He stumbled across the season 4 episode with the Repli-team + Weir and really liked it and it's pacing, so I'm kind of looking for things that are kind of fast-paced and action heavy. Any suggestions?

Hey, delwyncole! I just wanted to say thanks for the wonderful comments about the vid, and for the rec. It's so amazing to read something like that. I just have to pinch myself (which... ow).

Also, I appreciate the SGA recs. Still making my way through S1, so I'm looking forward to what's ahead.
