It was nice enough to befriend someone. And it was also nice for this someone to help him out.

But - at the last possible minute - Ashley J. Williams felt a pang of guilt.
Elle flips past a page or two in her textbook before looking up to see Ash. She's genuinely surprised, but she quietly waves him over as she closes the book.

"Hi," he says when he's at the table, standing a bit awkwardly. "Sorry, I just - there was - yeah. Sorry."

She then motions for him to sit across from her, pushing the chair out a little with her foot.
