Commentfic: Wesley and Faith

So this was written from a prompt posted by superkappa over at the BuffyVerse Non-Canon Ficathon.  This particular prompt caught my eye partly because I'm RPing Faith and there's a thing between her and Wesley, but mostly because I love this ship.  It just works so well.

There's a few things I have to say about this though.  Firstly, it's set after Chosen (

Oh, god, that was so completely and utterly perfect I don't even know what to say.

Seriously... I could go through and pick out so many lines that I absolutely love, which capture the characters so perfectly, but I'd just end up quoting half the story back at you.

This is, in every single respect, the Wes/Faith story I've always wanted to read. Thank you so damn much for writing it.

I think it's so true if them to repress their feelings for each other, Faith because she's protecting herself, Wesley because he's just so gosh darn repressed!!

Yes, absolutely; plus, as you reminded us, Wes can't remember everything that happened. So s5 Wesley is rather less dark than s4 Wesley - the darkness is there of course, but it's somewhat buried.

This piece really is just full of beautiful, perfect lines. You are exceptionally talented.
