Eee, love that one! Gunn-Cordy interaction is golden because they come from such different places, but are both badass demon-hunters in their own right. This episode actually makes me ship them a bit. Only for this episode, but it's so there for those 40 minutes.

I know! I wish they'd had her dressed in a really fashionable, Buffy-season-2-Cordelia-typical outfit though. And I really, really, wish she had been the one to save Gunn. Because come on. Cordy could totally have run across a car and shoved an axe in that demon's brain! Grrr...

And yeah, totally felt that ship. In fact what you said was exactly what I was thinking.

Yeah, Cordy gets better at kicking demon butt. She's still learning right now. But you saw how, when she couldn't call Angel or Wes, she just went to save Gunn herself? Awesome.

I know. But I was thinking of how much his character has improved overall. And Buffy Wesley didn't seem the type to say "wanker". If he was upset, he would pontificate.

Oh, his level of badassness goes a lot further than that in later seasons, trust me! ;) Dark!Wesley is UNFFFF....

It's immaculate. Spike's is ok - in S2 it's atrocious but by S5 it's alright. It's still a mix of cockney, posh, and American, but I figure that with his history and how long he's lived his accent would be a mixture anyway :D Don't know whether that was deliberate on the part of James Marsters, or just an inability to speak in a normal English accent, but Spike's accent is perfect for his character :D

Drusilla on the other hand... *shudder* It's such a terrible accent.

So are you actually going through all of Angel for the FIRST TIME?! :O I don't believe it...about time! :D Best show ever, or one of them....I'm one of those who loves it more than BTVS, though I do like BTVS as well! ;)

"First Impressions" is such an underrated epp, glad you enjoyed it!
