Thanks :D It took me hours and it's really old but I love it!
And I've actually been following True Blood for over a year but channel four is STUPID and only just started S2!!
But I adore Jessica. Since the moment she discovered she was a vampire and screamed for joy!

You appear to be using a very basic crop-and-glow photoshop thing I did about five years ago - shortly after I read Fray for the first time, for that matter, (and it was the best comics I'd read at that point too ;) ) - for the userinfo of my roleplaying journal slayer_fray.

I don't mind in the slightest, and all your icons are great. I'm just curious why you chose to use it?

Well I don't actually have photoshop. I use PSP and gimp and the light effects are from textures. So it's not at all basic for me - it takes me ages to achieve that effect and I've only just been able to do it properly. I do it because I like it.

Plus I do use other techniques as well. I just went with how I felt with this batch, and this is how it turned out.

Sorry, I think I wasn't clear. I meant - why use a manip I'd already done insted of working with the raw image?

OH you mean that image... I honestly just found that when googling Fray... I'll take it off now - didn't realise it was yours! I thought it was a promo pic or something. Tbh I was doing image collecting very quickly.
