I've been pretty busy, but I did get a chance to check out the art. Very pretty, as usual.

I feel like Whedon always does an amazing job of finding incredibly versatile actors. We sorta take the BtVS regulars for granted, but they're all so completely good. Alyson Hannigan is brilliant, as are Tony, Sarah, & Nikki. The season six finale is one of my favorite BtVS arcs. Willow is chilling and heart-breaking. I love that they can send her completely off the rails, but it's still so very in characters. She's Willow and that's exactly what Willow would do.

I honestly can't understand how they could think that - if Whedon were homophobic then why would he have portrayed them so sympathetically? Or even had them on the show? Stupid people.

Exactly. Similar happened after a certain character was killed off in Torchwood Series 3. Hello, people, Russell T. Davies is gay, and not self-hating but a fairly outspoken advocate of gay rights. If there was a agenda there, it was making us all feel emotional pain over the death of our beloved character.

Anyway, the wiki says, and I quite agree, that Doppelgangland shows off Alyson Hannigan's acting talents by having her play Willow, Vampire Willow, and each of them pretending to be the other.

Also love Vampire Xander. That was Xander's hottest look.

IKR! How could they think that. I love RTD :D And I don't like the message the fan reaction kinda sends - that if a character is gay nothing bad should happen to them otherwise it might be seen as prejudice (wtf!).

She is incredible, and so under-rated. All the Buffy stars are, actually. And yeah, gotta love Vamp!Xander. So hot. (Though admittedly I spent most of the episode lusting after Oz the Vampire Slayer :D)
