Buffy Worship: Lover's Walk

So I was totally dreading this episode, because it meant the eternal death of my OTP. :(  And another ship I adore.  But honestly I've rarely laughed so much at a Buffy episode.

The reason for this was of course Spike.

For me personally, I've never been able to ship any of the core 4 (Buffy/Xander/Willow/Giles) romantically. To me, they're just too much of a family for me to see any of the individual pairings as romantic. But they've all got great chemistry so I certainly get it :)

I guess cos Willow loved Xander for so long I feel sorry for her and want the ship to work for her. And Xander finally loves her that way and the longtime-friends-realising-they're-in-love style ship is one of my absolute faves. But it clashes with my OTP and Oz gets hurt. So I am completely torn. This is what Whedon does to ya! He confuses your heart and mind and leaves you begging for more.

This is so true. Spike should be ruler of the world.

Oh tell me what to ship, flist! I'm so confused :(
Don't worry so much, just enjoy the ride :D When I'm watching a show I'll ship whatever it's pushing, ups and downs and messy confusion and all. There's a fun in that kind of investment too!

I used to be like that, but I fall in love with ships! Normally I do ship whatever's canon though, and there's so much of that in Buffy! And the non-canon ships are so fun too!
