Hello! We used to follow each other and therefore still do. I logged into LJ today for the first time in ages in a fit of nostalgia for how the internet used to be, so here I am, saying hello. Honestly have nothing interesting to say beyond that, except congratulations to us all for still being here.

I'm really impressed LJ is still here at all, and that there are people posting. maybe others will come back here now that the internet has changed so much... are there any other places you've been hanging out online, or have you transitioned to irl-only lol

I've become a complete hermit in IRL, and more or less a hermit online now too! I used to do a lot of twitter, but that got gradually bad for my mental health so I quit it a couple of years ago. I mostly stay in touch with the world by watching youtube, where it's easier for me to resist the urge to get into arguments with strangers on the internet, which was definitely a bad habit.

I've hung out in a discord a bit, as I got in touch with some fellow Phantom fans of the old days the other year, but most of the modern world of social media, blaarghh. There were so many ways LJ was better for online interaction. I suppose I should post and also see if anyone else is still around!

Hi! It's been a while. I'm more active on Tumblr these days, too. It was my birthday (and Buffy's, Edgar Allan Poe's, and my late aunt Maisie's) this past Wednesday, January 19.

Funny you should have resurfaced to post Stargate pics; not only am I an old Stargate fan, these past several months, I've gotten back into Dark Matter, which was created by the same showrunners, and I've been following Joe Mallozzi on his daily blog and r/darkmatter on Reddit, as well as fleshing out the subpages for it on TV Tropes. How much do you know about the premise of Dark Matter?
