This episode was...  On the whole disappointing.  Not from a plot point of view, or an excitement point of view, or even, to some extent, a writing point of view.  No.  I have my reasons and shall state them in a minute.

I haven't seen that episode (I totally don't mind spoilers though :D), but when I read about Hitler in it, it reminds me of the songs that Polish people made up during the war and occupation. They were just plain FUNNY, and Hitler was always a pathetic fool in them, and IMO this kind of humor is one of the most badass things about Polish people (especially since you could be killed for singing those songs). :D Of course Hitler is long dead and the people who make DW wouldn't be directly affected anyway, so maybe them making him a pathetic fool is inappropriate or something. Also, as I said, I need to see it before I have an opinion. :]

Oh totally. But Polish people, and the others he hurt (Jews, gay people, communists, politcal prisoners etc) using that humour and people who weren't affected using that humour is different to me. It's probably me being ridiculously picky because The Producers makes fun of Hitler all the time and I'm ok with that. But in that case it's in a comedy and it's not them actually going back in time and seeing the real Hitler. You see?
