Ok, so this week sis and I embarked on an Indiana Jones marathon, because we wanted to watch the last one again.  But we were bored so we were like LETS WATCH ALL THE FILMS!  ALL OF THEM!!

Because screw the general consensus - we love the last one.

And here's my two penneth.

So the main complaints about The Crystal Skull are these, as far as I know...

Amen! I love all those movies. Alllll of them. I never really understood the outcry about the aliens in Crystal Skull, basically for the reasons you stated. And YES, dude, the originals weren't exactly the pinnacle of cinema. I mean, a bald priest-guy who can grab the still-beating heart out of someone's chest?

And how funny is the grab the snake/grab the rope part in Crystal Skull? *g*

I read this press release from Spielberg about how it was supposed to be written in the vein of the comics of the time, and that was aliens, so I was prepared. But I wouldn't have minded anyway - aliens over gods every time.

I like all the Indiana Joneses. I haven't watched em all in a while, and I've only seen Crystal Skull once, but I'd say it's about on par with Temple of Doom.

Of course, unlike most people, I prefer Last Crusade over Lost Ark.
