On Tumblr I just get the picture. Here I get all the juicy gossip and feminist rants about it.

Even though I should be sleeping, here's my two penneth about the Gillian Jacobs/Allison Brie photoshoot.

I agree with your thoughts on the photoshoot...if they wanted to do it and had fun expressing themselves and their sexuality in this way, that's terrific. I am more frustrated with (what I perceive to be) GQ's target audience getting these kinds of pictures than I am with the women giving them, if that makes sense. Along the lines of "You're a juvenile, self-centered jackass, why should you get Christmas in July?"

Pansexual is new to me. I'm bisexual but probably old. I had to look it up and it seems to suit me better, but the thought of going through the process of self-discovery and realization again makes me tired. Probably because I'm old LOL

Well that's true. Bottom line is the photo is essentially the product of a digsusting chauvinistic culture that pimps women out to tossers. And I'm never gonna be ok with that. Unless the women are Allison and Gillian and they wanted to do it and they're hot :P

UGH I hate putting a label on it. But I couldn't say "I like girls" cos then people would assume I'm gay. And I couldn't be arsed to go through the whole I-don't-like-to-define-my-sexuality-I-like-who-I-like spiel. Pansexual is my go-to definition when context demands one, cos it fits me.

And nah, I did it recently and it is tiring. Plus when you get down to it, the "I like who I like and screw the politics" is a way better mentality :P

SORRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY it was late at night and I'm not allowed to look at big images (download limit a;sdfkjasldfkj) so I couldn't go searching for it and I figured anyone that really wanted to see it could google it :P
