Satie's Gnossienne no.3 When the fire alarm had rung to the 5th minute, Junsu finally broke the silence (ironically) between him and Yoochun. “I think maybe you should leave. This won’t stop until the next 15 minutes or so.”
Yoochun groaned. “Really, I hate this place of yours!”
Junsu laughed. He turned around to look for Yoochun’s jacket and tie, and handed them to the other young man.
“Thanks,” said Yoochun, wearing his jacket. He put the tie in his bag.
Junsu closed the door behind him to walk Yoochun to the elevator. Before stepping into the closed space, Yoochun turned back at Junsu. His finger pointed up at the fire detector on their head. “Are you sure it’s going to stop? You can always come to my place for the night. My mom adores you.”
Yoochun didn’t know someone standing behind the wall right opposite to them was grinding their teeth, about to jump out and punch him at any moment.
“Thanks, but it’s going to be fine. I live here, I know it. Here the fire alarm system is the only thing that works. Painfully sensitively so, when we’re at that. Someone must have smoked indoors or something, nothing serious. It will stop soon.”
“You sure?” Yoochun asked again, the last bit of hope evident in his voice.
Junsu smiled, shaking his head. He waved to Yoochun as the other person slowly disappeared behind the elevator door.
Junsu rubbed his own hair, which was still wet. This gesture made him, in his white cotton shirt and grey sweatpant, even more adorable and look like a cat just out of the shower.
The person behind the wall grinded the cigarrette butt under their shoes, decided that it was time to act.
At first, Junsu didn’t understand what was happening, and who was pulling him. He was about to shout for help when he realized no burglar dresses in such an expensive suit, and the long, muscular limps looked much too familiar.
“Changmin?” He finally asked.
The person didn’t say anything but there was no need for an answer anymore. Changmin pulled Junsu along and after some flights of stairs Junsu finally realized he was being taken out of his building.
Changmin practically threw Junsu inside his car. After getting in himself, Changmin started the engine. He looked to the side to see Junsu’s panicked eyes on him.
Junsu was panting lightly. His eyes were glossy and drops of sweat beaded his white forehead. His red, full lips were parted in an expression of complete surprise.
Changmin suddenly slanted forward, causing Junsu’s breath to hitch. Then Junsu started inhaling and exhaling again, as Changmin buckled up for him. Junsu’s olfactory organ was filled with the smell of musk and citrus, which was Changmin’s favorite cologne and shampoo smell.
Junsu fidgeted about, trying to figure out what was happening. During the ride, whatever question he gave, Changmin didn’t answer. The taller young man was very quiet and seemed to be concentrating on the road alone.
Junsu didn’t know Changmin stole frequent glances at him through the top mirror, so he was taken aback when a warm hand caught his cool one. Changmin’s thumb caressed the skin of Junsu’s hand, making Junsu’s heart beat fast.
Finally, they seemed to have arrived at the destination. Changmin didn’t release Junsu’s hand as he led the latter to the elevator, to finally arrive at the top floor.
Thick darkness greeted them. “Stay here,” Changmin said, with a tinge of hurry in his voice. Then, leaving Junsu by himself at the door, Changmin walked inside.
Light came into the place, but not in a sudden pour. First, Junsu saw a dot of fire came into life, before a glow started to emit from it. More and more similar dots of glow were created, until the place was illuminated enough for Junsu to find himself in a room with a lot of candles and roses. In the middle of it all there was Changmin, his dark hair gleamed under the candlelight. He had taken off the jacket and now was in a pale dress shirt, which did a gracefully poor job of hiding Changmin’s muscles. The length of his legs was accentuated in a pair of dark tailored slacks. Somehow, Changmin looked much more grown-up compared to what Junsu remembered of him, although Changmin had left Junsu’s side only a month ago. During that time he seemed to have changed much, unlike the pain in Junsu’s heart, which even now felt just like new.
Changmin pulled a chair out. Only then did Junsu notice a nice dinner of cold dishes was laid on top of the table next to the large wall of colored glass. This was such a charming apartment, and completely different from the simplicity of Changmin's other place in Gangnam - Junsu felt his brain drifting away to unrelated topics. He sat down in front of Changmin, as was instructed by the other person’s gestures.
Next, Changmin commanded Junsu to eat. Nothing looked really special or fancy, but as the first bite of ham melted on Junsu’s tongue as the sweetness ran to all corners of his mouth, Junsu had to suppress a sound of surprise. It was so well marinated and must be of the very top kind. Similar were the pickles, the cheese, the bread… they were all unusually delicious, despite the fact that they looked completely ordinary.
“Eat more,” Changmin said as he put a slice of pink-colored prosciutto on Junsu’s plate. Junsu stared at it, his mouth watering but he could eat no more. “I’m full,” said Junsu. Looking at Changmin’s questioning gaze, he added, “I already had dinner.”
With whom? Changmin almost asked. But he already knew the answer, and the last thing he wanted to hear was that man’s name coming from Junsu’s lips, so Changmin refrained himself from voicing out.
Changmin finished the last slice of meat he had in silence, before he stood up and walked to the bar. He came back with a bottle of wine. “This, I got from a wine garden in Tuscano,” said Changmin as he poured the vermillion liquor into two glasses and gave Junsu one, even though Junsu’s own glass of champagne was still full. “Oh, Tuscano? You were there? How great.” Junsu said to lighten the tense atmosphere. He didn’t know why but the felt something was going to burst soon.
At least it seemed to really work. “Do you like Italy?” Changmin asked with some interest in his voice.
“Yeah. I also speak the language. Been learning it since I was 14, as it’s good for reading books about music.” Junsu swung the glass, watching the red color of the liquor transferring to and dancing on the skin of his hand and wrist under the candle light.
Changmin seemed to be really amused now. “You speak Italian? I didn’t know that.”
Is there anything you know about me? Have you ever cared to learn? Junsu wanted to ask. Something had just died a little more inside, though he had tried to stop it.
In the stream of his thought, Junsu’s let a drop of wine ran out of the corner of his lips down to his chin. When he felt it, he wanted to wipe it away with the napkin, but Changmin had stopped him. Changmin’s long fingers lifted Junsu’s chin and Junsu was stunned as the standing man’s face came closer and closer, until something damp and warm came touching the sensitive skin of his face. Changmin slowly trailed his wet tongue along the line the drop of wine had painted on Junsu’s chin, until it finally arrived and paused at Junsu’s lips.
The sensuality of it all made Junsu get goosebumps all over. Changmin had bent down on par with Junsu, with one of his hands leaving ghostly touches on Junsu’s shoulder and naked neck, to finally coming to rest on and grip his nape. The other hand of Changmin’s snaked around and secured Junsu’s slim waist. When Changmin had completely fixed Junsu in the seat, he started to savour Junsu’s lips as if they were a kind of nectar he could not live without. Changmin let himself drown in the taste of Junsu, now translating as the amalgam of salt and the bitterly sweet taste of the liquor, mixed with the smell and flavor only Junsu could produce. It started slowly but got messier with every minute. At a point Changmin became so hungry despite all that he had got, that his tongue started invading the inner of Junsu’s mouth mercilessly and his teeth started biting on Junsu’s full lips, causing Junsu to yelp.
Junsu was only allowed short, erratic breaths. His eyes were open all the while and saw Changmin’s long lashes and thick eyebrows at unbelievably close proximity. They were so beautiful, so perfect and at the same time Junsu knew this whole thing was so wrong, but he was at a loss for both words and actions. His senses were blinded and only came back as Changmin’s stubbles could be felt on his baby milky skin. They tickled him and sent more electricity up his spines. Changmin was hungrily eating Junsu’s neck with a kind of fervour resembling a Dracula, and Junsu had to use quite some force to push him away.
“Stop it,” he said with his mouth so dry.
“Why?” Changmin asked. His brown eyes were dark with lust and his breaths uneven.
“We can’t do this. Not anymore.”
There was a resolution in Junsu’s voice that got Changmin frowning.
