One day we'll go to Mars, we'll pick up Spirit, power it up and turn it back on.

And that will be an awesome day.

(Either that or it'll go psycho and become The Terminator)

Aw, this is so cool/sad.

Four years already! I remember how the Young Man and I sat up to watch the NASA live stream of the landing and cheered along with Mohawk Guy and all the rest of the beautiful nerdy NASA folks. Such fun.

Yes!! We did too, it was so amazing -- all that ratcheting tension and eager hope, and then the huge explosion of joy when everything went right.
