Look at the bright side: democrats or republicans, they are all equally incompetent and unlikely to get anything done. Sometimes getting nothing done can be a good thing. I intended to write something cheerful, but it's politics; that's the best I can do.

Without reading thoroughly, I assumed at first that you meant Texas. I suppose there are any number (well okay, a number that has to be less than 50) of states that could have equally well filled in the blank for "Oh _____, what have you done?" That's pretty depressing.

I just hope Kansas can survive another term. He's gutted education, public services, everything, and businesses haven't exactly flooded in. Well, we shall see, I guess!

Heh. Yeah, there was more than enough depression to go round that night. Everywhere I looked made me angry/vexed/sad/annoyed. *sigh*
