Dear Delos, thank you so very much for your thoughtful wishes. However I feel responsible to mention that It is my son's user info that I use to login so the birth date is actually his. My birthday on May 9th. When is yours by the way? Send me an email.

The mosaic is beautiful indeed. I want to say that I always follow your posts with great interest as your research mainly on the Medieaval ages era brings to the light unbelievable depictions of Alexander.

Forgive me If I don't always answer as I rarely have the chance (my son is writing his masters thesis on the pc).

You know, just moments after the post I suddenly remembered that the same happened last year (or a year before?) and you told me it was your son's birthday but I forgot. I'll mark in my calendar your real :) date of birth (mine is Jan 13th).

I like too many things - Ancient Greece and Middle East, Medieval Times; history is so interesting but alas not enough time to explore it all. I still have a draft of my translation from Russian about Alexander's fame in Russia in centuries X to XIII or so, coming from Byzantium, I assume. I will try to finish it for this Christmas/New Year.
