One day I received a notification from FFnet that some new reader followed my story "Present for Alexander". It was a nice surprise since the story is more than one year old and I never planned a follow up. In that story I made Zeus and Hera gift Alexander with GPS for his birthday. Remembering this story with a wicked smile on my face I wondered

OMG! i can't believe you wrote this for me!
I remembered that story well but this one is just magnificent.
Only you could connect selfies as the cause of the major events in ALexander's life.
If I had to choose one selfie, I wouldn't be able, all explanations are so creative that they could be real!
By Zeus's balls! what is Hephaestion doing to the king? a hidden cell phone there? LOL
this is just a pure example of Greek Comedy.

Ah, I am so glad you liked! Though, honestly, I knew you would :)

The moment I got the idea, I simply couldn't stop. Had your birthday been on November 23rd, this story would have been twice as long. Once I started writing, it was just like flood gate opened.

Well, I sort of hoped it would be funny :) Personally, I giggled a lot while writing and coming up with all those crazy ideas. The selfie-taking fitted so perfectly with characters and events that accompanied Alexander's life.
