Jennifer Grey - Dancing With The Stars Champion

So, another Palin lost to a black guy and a woman from New York? It's deja vu all over again.

(I don't actually watch the show, but I'm amused by the final outcome.)

While I don't watch the show, I would have been annoyed if the star of Dirty Dancing was beaten by an ill-coordinated brat who was kept on the show only because people feel sorry for her.

Considering that Jennifer Grey is the daughter of one of the most accomplished stage dancers/performers of his generation, while being in her own right the star of one of the most iconic dance performances of my generation, I'd have been annoyed as well. Not to mention that she did it while still suffering the effects of a major auto accident over 20 years ago.

Just think how many TV sets would have been shot out if Bristol had won. (Oh, maybe that's who've been voting for her--the TV set manufacturers.)

Like you, I don't watch the show, but it's impossible not to hear about it.

Usually, the other people in my department watch DWTS, so I'd gotten used to hearing them Monday-morning-quarterback the show. It was strange that they didn't discuss it at all this season, until I found out they'd all decided not to watch because of Bristol.

One of my friends is practically addicted to DWTS, so she watched. Between her and various media bits, I was well apprised of what was going on.

Otoh, I'm definitely not watching "Sara Palin's Alaska."
