I'm going through a similar thing, but we're teenage girls and shouldn't forget that pretty much every other teenage girl out there is feeling the same way. This will probably sound obvious, but exercise is a quick way to feel good about yourself. Going for a 10 minute run will release all of these endorphins in your body, and you don't even have to do anything overly strenuous to find those endorphins. I don't want to sound like a mom, that's just how I've been dealing with everything. It's a chance to escape my everyday life, because no one can touch me when I'm out on a run.

When you look in the mirror, don't just look at the stuff you don't like. You're so pretty, Rachel! You have this kind of classic beauty...errr... with a twist. It's hard to explain. But don't be so hard on yourself. If you want to talk more, I'm here!

I agree.

My dear, I love you very much (and your dog food) and I hate reading that you're to self conscious about yourself like this.

I really wish I could say something that you haven't heard before and that will bring a smile to your face and happiness to your heart, but I cannot.

I don't know how to make others happy.

I don't know how to make others smile.

All I really am capable of doing is providing the shoulder for one to cry on.

I presume I'm good at that.

Much love. ♥
