I forgot to mention that earplugs are lifesavers. Our flights were packed with babies and toddlers and children who clearly did not like being stuck in a tin-can with varying air pressure pushing in on their little ears. I actually didn't have earplugs, but having been at enough concerts, toilet or tissue paper did the job pretty well. I managed to ( Read more... )

Out of continent?? A liquor-serving restaurant in Boston rejected my Canadian license!!! Refused to even let me go into the restaurant. bleah.

When things like that happen, I just want to punch their face.

I've had my Singapore NRIC rejected before in the US. Given that their drivers' licenses are sooo much easier to forge compared to the NRIC... -__-

Always good to have your paper over done with early. I'm glad you went to a good game!

Yeah, they won't take NRIC. The concept of NRIC is incomprehensible to them. I might as well tell them it's my de facto passport.
