I miss 12 degrees C... and I miss spring :(

Maybe when I get my official upgrade (along with decent pay *rolleyes*), I can send you a care (aka food) package :)

That's sweet of you, K, but it probably won't make it through customs. My friends E&A have been driving us to T&T every week, so we do get a good dose of "Asian food" (LOL) - not that absolutely everything is available (nasi lemak? yeah right..). I think I just miss being back.

No? I used to get care packages from my mum and cousin when I was in the UK. I thought as long as it is not meat-products it should be OK through customs? Never mind, maybe I'll try at some point.

Yeah, I don't know if a packet of nasi lemak will make it through.

Just read your kaya post - my newest indulgence is the 2 slices of toast with kaya and butter at around 4pm. My mum sent it along with the bazillion red dates and herbs for confinement - bliss! I'll be going back with Iris and John at some point so keep a list of what you want and I'll gladly bring it back for you.

Hi Yvonne! I can send you some home-made if you'd like! :P

I think the major thing about the food that I miss over there is the way it's prepared and the ambience of the hawker centres. Kinda hard to reproduce over here!
